Designed for musicians, producers, and audio engineers in search of studio-quality recordings, the M-Audio AIR 192|8 is a 24-bit / 192 kHz audio interface with two combo XLR-1/4″ mic/line inputs with switchable -10 dB mic pad and two 1/4″ Hi-Z instrument inputs with a specially designed gain and impedance stage for an accurate representation of guitar/bass signal plugged directly into the interface. Each input features a dedicated meter and level control. The two 1/4″ and four RCA outputs offer USB / direct monitor control and a direct mono/stereo switch to provide multiple output options for connecting to outboard gear, DJ mixers, or studio monitors. The headphone output also features an independent level, USB / direct monitoring, and switchable 1/2 or 3/4 audio stream controls for discretely listening to a cue mix, sub mix, or main mix.
